Best money spent!

How Moocall Technology Works:

This non-invasive, tail mounted sensor gathers hundreds of pieces of data a second. It can accurately predict when your cow is most likely to give birth by measuring tail movement patterns triggered by labour contractions. When they reach a certain level of intensity over a period of time it then sends an SMS text alert directly to your cell phone on average 1 hour prior to calving.

The Moocall Difference

Long Lasting Battery Life

Recharge your Moocall device much like your smartphone. Except the battery will last 30 to 60 days.

Oh, and Moocall is smart enough to let you know via SMS text message when the unit only has 15% battery remaining.

Cover more Calving Events

To move a Moocall device you unstrap it and reattach it to a new cows tail. One device, managed well can easily do for a herd of 30 or more cows. Three Moocalls will serve a herd of 100 cows. Even the biggest of herds should get by with about 5 units.

'MyMoocall' Software

Purchasing a Moocall device also gives you access to 'MyMoocall'. This is where you can manage your devices. You can change the associated phone numbers, see your battery levels & see what alerts have been sent. Also, download our free Moocall companion apps.

World Class Customer Success

We want you to succeed so we will call you once you register your device and make sure you get the most from your purchase. Many of our team keep cattle themselves. We understand calving and are always here to help. We also offer phone, email and live chat support 5 days a week.

Fantastic

"Since I bought my MooCall I never missed a calf and I never received false alert. I also really appreciated getting an SMS went the Moocall it had fallen from the tail! It is fantastic for me!”

Marc-Andre Allard - Québec

How does it work?

Moocall calving sensors measure contractions to determine the shift from mid to late labour. They will then send you an SMS message, an app notification and an email to let you know that they have detected high activity. Usually, an hour after the first message, you will see active calving taking place.

How many devices do I need?

On average, you will need about 1 device per 50 head. Of course, your own calving system will determine how to best make use of these devices. We recommend getting ONE sensor to start. This gives you a chance to evaluate it, experiment with it, and then make a decision about how many you need.

How much does it cost?

One Moocall calving sensor costs US$429. This includes the device and 12 months of software, service and usage. After 12 months, it costs US$174+tax per device, per year, to continue using it. If you own multiple devices, each annual service charge will be discounted by 10%.

Where do I purchase? Moocall calving sensors can be bought from us directly or from our Canadian distribution partners.
